The latest screw vacuum pump from Busch, COBRA DX, scores highly in terms of user-friendliness and cost savings. Thanks to the Plug & Pump design, the vacuum pumps are ready for immediate use. Settings are easily controlled via the integrated touchpad. An integrated variable speed drive with different operating modes saves energy by ensuring that COBRA DX series vacuum pumps always run in optimum operating conditions.
COBRA DX is a dry vacuum pump with state-of-the-art screw vacuum technology offering low total cost of ownership, excellent running characteristics and extremely energy-efficient operation.
Energy-saving, user-friendly, cost-conscious
Currently, the new COBRA DX comes in two sizes, and thanks to its VSD, it covers a pumping speed range of up to 950 m3 per hour and achieves an ultimate pressure of up to 0.01 hPa (mbar).
All operating data is continuously recorded and saved. This makes COBRA DX ideal for a wide range of applications in the packaging industry, such as thermoforming, packaging machines, tray sealers, and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) applications. In addition, COBRA DX is an excellent centerpiece for building a modular central vacuum system.
Busch is showcasing another dry vacuum pump the MINK MM, which has proven itself for pneumatic conveying, robotics and pick-and-place applications. The MINK MM is especially suited for these industries due to its energy efficiency and nearly maintenance-free operation. Thanks to its clean compaction, the all-rounder MINK is also ideally suited for cleanrooms in the pharmaceutical industry.
To reduce production costs and downtime, Busch is also featuring their digital service innovation that intelligently monitors vacuum pump conditions. Service packages and digital services, ensure an efficient and secure vacuum supply. Busch vacuum experts will demonstrate the benefits of this technology live at PACK EXPO in their booth.
Also at the show will be the benchmark for packaging, the R5 rotary vane vacuum pump. Testing proves these pumps offer fast packaging cycles, high reliability and lower energy consumption. The R5 series large portfolio is particularly well-suited for large chamber vacuum machines, thermoforming packaging machines, and handling small packaging, such as blister packs.
In addition to modular solutions, Busch also customized vacuum systems to meet unique customer requirements. Service packages and digital services, ensure an efficient and secure vacuum supply.
