Manufacturing Hero

Shortly after the outbreak of the Corona crisis, nurses, doctors, and caregivers in the United Kingdom were hailed as heroes of the pandemic for putting themselves in harm’s way to save the lives of others. As a token of appreciation, citizens pasted paintings on their homes and stood outside Thursday night to clap for these people and show their solidarity. Many companies have also responded to the crisis and made special efforts to help. So did the team of Busch UK.
“Made in Group” has now recognized companies in the Midlands and Yorkshire as “Manufacturing Heroes” who excelled during the Corona pandemic. The campaign was launched to highlight the achievements of UK manufacturers who worked tirelessly during the pandemic.

Founded in 2009, “Made in Group” (“Made in the Midlands” and “Made in Yorkshire”) is a trade association for manufacturing and engineering companies. The group wants to strengthen the British economy and has over 500 members from manufacturing and businesses in the Midlands and Yorkshire region.

Busch UK was awarded the “Manufacturing Hero Award” because its technicians provided emergency and breakdown support to key industries during the pandemic to ensure production in the UK remained operational. Tim Hulbert, General Manager of Busch UK, accepted the award from “Made in Group” patron Rory Alkin and stated:
Achieving this award is great recognition of the critical support that the Busch UK team provided to key industries throughout the pandemic and was a wonderful way to end Busch UK’s 50th year.
