The vacation program for 5th to 7th-grade students aims to engage children in science in a
playful way and to look behind the curtain of technical professions.
On the second and third days of the four-day program, 15 students visited the Busch
headquarters in Maulburg. Some of them were allowed to test the 3D program in systems
building and take part in the assembly of a vacuum system. The other students helped to
mount small pumps under the guidance of trainees in the training workshop and watched
demonstrations of exciting vacuum experiments. In addition to a company presentation, a
factory tour and lectures where apprentices presented their professions, there was also
delicious food that rounded off the day perfectly.
“With the Kids’ Days, we offer children an exciting and varied vacation program that helps
parents organize the holidays. Students have also the possibility to gain their first insights into
technical professions. We would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and
look forward to the next Kids’ Days,” says Lara Schleith, HR expert.
The Kids’ Days, formerly known as “Technology Week”, is a joint initiative between the Busch Group, which has been involved since 2017, Endress+Hauser and the durlum Group.
