The 160 participating experts who took the chance to exchange about the topic of aerospace propulsion came from international research centers and space agencies in 16 countries on four continents. Developments that have the potential to become part of new space systems were presented and the participants also discussed green technologies. Jan-Hendrik Dörr, Market Manager R&D at Pfeiffer, gave a technical presentation on how vacuum technology enables progress in spaceflight, positioning Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions as a supplier for this application area.
“Conferences like this promote scientific exchange and drive groundbreaking innovation. Through our participation, we were able to present part of our product portfolio on site, get in contact with participants from all over the world and discuss the possibilities of space simulation. This meant that we were immediately available for questions and were able to make new contacts for our colleagues from Poland,” he explains.
“The event is a unique opportunity to share experience and gather information on the latest research findings in the aerospace sector. We are very excited to be part of this great science as a sponsor and a supplier of vacuum systems. This allows us to continue to position ourselves in this area, even though our solutions have already gained recognition in projects – not only in Poland, but worldwide,” says Miłosz Pawlak, Business Development Manager at Busch Poland. The event was hosted by Warsaw’s Łukasiewicz Institute of Aviation, the Ministry for Science and Higher Education, the Ministry for Development and Technology and other renowned Polish institutions.
