Donations for a Better Christmas
Fulfilling a wish that would otherwise remain unfulfilled This is the aim of “direct help better future” with its Christmas campaign “Better Christmas”, to which our company has donated. The local organization supports sick or socially disadvantaged children and teenagers who live near our headquarters in the districts of Lörrach and Freiburg.
Often people can’t even imagine what is lacking everywhere. Even here in Germany
The Christmas wishes of the kids and teens are correspondingly modest: a soccer ball, a toy scooter, a voucher for clothes that the child can choose. But also, everyday things that families cannot afford, such as boots or winter clothing.
The sustainability of our actions is particularly important to us. That’s why our organization is called ‘Better Future’. We want to break through predetermined life courses and open up new possibilities for the children.
For example, last year, “direct help better future gGmbH” made it possible for over 80 children and teenagers to attend vacation camps in Germany and other countries. An experience that would otherwise not have been possible for them.
Public funds are usually tied to specific projects. We want to fill a gap here and support the kids and teens directly. For example, through sports and music sponsorships. Our goal is cultural participation
That’s why the organization also finances seemingly self-evident things like movie vouchers, zoo visits, or instrumental lessons that families’ tight budgets don’t allow.
The organization has set itself the goal of enabling at least 500 children and teenagers to receive a Christmas present worth 30 to 40 Euro this year.
