It Starts with Education

Ayhan and Dr Karl Busch Scholarship

Education creates understanding. Education solves problems. Education is one way to create a better world for yourself and others. Busch Vacuum Solutions firmly believes in education for all. It is the reason why the Ayhan and Dr Karl Busch Scholarship in Africa was introduced.
The first ever recipient is 14-year-old Stella Nyirenda. She was born in Malawi and moved with her family to South Africa in November 2013. She attended Denver Primary School in Denver, Johannesburg, on the doorstep of Busch South Africa. It soon became apparent that Stella was bright. In fact, she was the top student at the school.
Busch South Africa decided to support her. Through the scholarship she is now attending Jeppe High School for Girls, a prestigious school in South Africa. She is already enjoying life there. And proving that education is not only about books but about personal development, too.
I have been exposed to many new sports and activities that I have never come across before. I am now part of the beginner’s tennis team, which I am enjoying. In addition, I am taking music as an extra cultural subject. I am learning how to play the drums.

She is not alone in receiving help with her education from Busch. 7-year-old Raj from India has been sponsored since 2017. He is currently in the second year at Bal Bharti Public School. The school is situated in Manesar, Gurugram, near the offices of Busch India.
