The tennis club in Wiechs, a village with around 1400 inhabitants near Maulburg, has been running for 28 years. The club is particularly committed to supporting children and young people and currently has 250 members. Despite rising costs, the board has managed to keep membership fees stable and therefore family-friendly since the club was founded.
To continue to make this possible, as well as reducing the association’s ecological footprint and contributing to the environmentally friendly energy supply in the surrounding area, the association members planned to install a photovoltaic system. This system was installed on the roof of the clubhouse and has been financed by banner advertising. Our company sponsored the project with 1,400 Euro and will receive a large banner in return.
“We are delighted that Busch supported our project. The income from the photovoltaic system helped to reduce the financial burden on our members and make the club financially sustainable,” explains Dr. Bernhard Saretz, 1st Chairman of TC Wiechs.
