Dr. Karl Busch and his wife Ayhan Busch had the dream to revolutionize the vacuum world.

With the HUCKEPACK, they developed the first oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump specially designed for food packaging. A milestone in vacuum history.

Dr Karl Busch has been awarded the title of honorary senator of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) for his many years of commitment and his services to the university's future development. At a celebratory event, TUM President Prof. Thomas F. Hofmann presented the visionary of vacuum technology with a certificate and praised Dr Karl Busch's many years of service to the university.
Busch Vacuum Solutions has been awarded by Wirtschaftswoche as one of Germany's top family companies 2020. Germany's leading business magazine presents this award to the 50 most visible, innovative and popular medium-sized companies. These companies with a turnover of 250 million to one billion Euro represent an important cornerstone of the German economy.
Ayhan and Dr Karl Busch were awarded the Business Medal of the German state of Baden-Württemberg for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and in recognition of their special services to the Baden-Württemberg economy. The two founders of the Busch Vacuum Solutions group accepted the award from the hands of Minister of Economic Affairs Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut at a ceremony in the New Palace in Stuttgart.
