"What do you think is the biggest difference between the German and American education system?", a student wants to know from Sami Busch. Together, the two Managing Directors Sami and Kaya Busch answer the questions of the American guests. This should have been the last question from the Q&A session but six more "last questions" follow. The students together with Dean Stephanie Adams and her Associate Dean Rafael Landaeta just can't stop asking. After all, it's their first chance to interview the managing directors of a German family business. The students and professors come from the Old Dominion University, a public research university in Norfolk, Virginia.

Their day in Maulburg was their last stop on a one-week study trip for the soon-to-be graduates. The excursion was intended to show them technical professions outside the USA. The visit of our company in Germany and the meeting with Sami and Kaya Busch was one of the highlights of their tour. "We learned a lot about the differences between the American and German education systems and the way people work here," explains a student and adds: "For example, I didn't know that enrolment at a university in Germany costs virtually nothing. It was also exciting to see such a large German family business."

Those of the American students who want to start their career at Busch after graduating do not have to travel far: Our American sales company is located only 30 kilometers away from the campus of the Old Dominion University.
