Dear Valued Customers,
We want to thank you for your patience during this very challenging situation and provide you with an update on our response to the COVID-19 health emergency. Busch continues to take action to minimize COVID-19 risks at all our global locations. The health and safety of everyone is our top priority. Busch Leadership Team is closely monitoring the status of the outbreak and its potential adverse impact on supply chain continuity in the Vacuum industry.
As the number of cases continues to escalate globally, Busch is taking additional preventive measures such as site entry restrictions and staggered staffing schedules, cancelled meetings, postponed/cancelled tradeshows, encouraged sick people to stay home, implemented travel ban (international & domestic), coordinated many employees to work from home, meetings are held via telephone or video and enhanced our cleaning and disinfection procedures to stop the potential spread of the disease within our location(s).
The health and safety of our employees remains a top priority and we are complying with all government requirements associated with our warehouses and offices resuming operations. As an essential supplier to many critical businesses such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, food supply, chemical, energy and other such important industries that are considered as "Essential Business or Operation" as per the COVID-19 Executive Order, Busch's warehouse location in Virginia Beach and all other service centers, are fully operational receiving incoming shipments from suppliers/customers and making outgoing shipments to customers. However, continued restrictions and limited availability of transportation may continue to cause some delays in the supply chain. There are some disruptions of delivery to customers in quarantine areas, based on local route restrictions and governmental controls. Busch communicates regularly with our suppliers to capture updated status information and to keep our customers informed of any changes in potential severity of impact to delivery of components manufactured in regions of the world affected by the virus. At this time, most of our suppliers have not reported any specific impact on their production or shipping schedules. Delivery dates and lead-times will also continue to be updated on any affected product.
We will continue to provide the most up-to-date details and information from the WHO, the CDC, media outlets, industry experts and our suppliers.
