Donation to Paris-Saclay University

The IUT (Institut Universitaire de Technologie – University Institute of Technology) of Orsay, a division of the prestigious Paris-Saclay University, recently benefited from a donation by Busch France.

Busch France donated several essential pieces of equipment for the study of low pressure, aiming to support higher education and research. This contribution strengthens the ties between industry and academia, thus preparing students for future careers.

The IUT’s vacuum hall is dedicated to low-pressure science, spreading over an area of nearly 500 m². Each year, around one hundred students are trained here, and interns from the French Vacuum Society have been working here for over 40 years.

This hall is the result of collaboration between industry and university, contributing to scientific advancement and preparing students for future careers. Busch France have provided two pieces of vacuum equipment to the vacuum hall.
This donation from Busch to the IUT Orsay is part of our mission to support academic initiatives and promote technological innovation. We are proud to contribute to the training of future professionals in low-pressure science and to strengthen the connections between academia and industry.
