Deaeration of Mineral Water

Manufacturers of mineral water and other beverages require that their products contain a precise quantity of dissolved carbon dioxide, although the amount of CO2 in source water may vary. To overcome this problem several processes are required. First, the CO2 is extracted from the source water by a vacuum deaeration system. It is then cooled and liquefied, and finally reintroduced in exact quantities to the end product at the bottling stage. This ensures conistent product quality.

Mink dry claw vacuum pumps are ideally suited to deaeration systems such as these, as they operate without water or oil eliminating the possibility of product contamination.
