Congratulations, Busch Denmark

50 years ago, Busch Denmark was the second subsidiary of Busch Vacuum Solutions outside Germany. For its anniversary celebration, Ayhan and Kaya Busch traveled to Ry, the headquarters of Busch Vakuumteknik A/S, to spend the special day with longtime customers, business partners and the Danish colleagues.

Over the past 50 years, Busch Denmark as well as the Busch Group has prospered and evolved to what it is today, one of the leading vacuum companies in the world. It was amazing entrepreneurial spirit that led to the creation of a product that today is at the heart of so many solutions for a wide variety of markets and applications. Since, 50 years, this spirit has motivated us to continue. Every day, we push boundaries to improve production processes and find innovative, more sustainable solutions that help make our customers’ production more energy efficient and safer

Ayhan and Kaya Busch visited the systems building and service workshop as well as the offices of the Danish headquarters in Ry. After being welcomed by Sune Rørbæk, General Manager of Busch Denmark and Ayhan and Kaya Busch, the invited guests enjoyed lunch together, followed by a Kaizen safari through the service and systems building departments. The get-together provided a good opportunity for the customers to get to know Busch Denmark and the Busch family before Ayhan and Kaya Busch started their journey home.

In addition to the headquarters in Ry, Busch Denmark has a sales and service office in Slagelse. A total of 38 colleagues are employed at the Danish subsidiary, which is particularly strong in systems building as well as in service and sales. Furthermore, the Danish sales company is very active in promoting sports and supporting universities.
History of Busch Denmark:

In 1972, Busch took over the company which had been responsible for the service business of Busch in Denmark. 13 years later a service department for Jutland (in western Denmark) and Funen (the country’s third largest island) was established in Ry. In 2007, Jørgen W. Lorentzen became General Manager. Until 2011, TYR rotary lobe blowers were built in Denmark before the production moved to the Czech Republic. In 2016, the head office building in Ry was renovated. At the same time, an administration building, and a new warehouse were constructed. When Jørgen W. Lorentzen retired in 2021, Sune Rørbæk became General Manager of Busch Vakuumteknik A/S.
