The COBRA BC 0101 F is a proven dry screw vacuum pump within the COBRA BC series portfolio that offers a compact state-of-the-art load lock solutions for the most demanding solar, flat panel and semiconductor applications. The COBRA BC 0101 F is a one-stage, twin-shaft screw vacuum pump. Two screw rotors revolve inside the cylinder, trapping and compressing the pumping medium, which is transported to the gas outlet. During the compression process the screw rotors do not make contact with each other or the cylinder, so lubricants and thus operating fluids in the compression chamber are not required.

The latest development of the screw design features a one-sided bearing, which dramatically reduces energy consumption and prevents high gas temperatures during compression.

The COBRA BC 0101 F incorporates water cooling as standard, which permits an even temperature distribution within the vacuum pump.
