The air quality in Delhi is at an alarmingly low level. Dust particles in the air cause smog and air pollution in the whole region around Delhi. The particles also reduce visibility. Countermeasures are intended to improve the situation.

As part of the "World Earth Day", the team of Busch India planted trees near the office building. In the area of the state school of Manesar our employees were busy the whole day. They received support from the school children, who were actively involved.

A total of 85 trees were planted that day. The aim of this project is to make the air in Delhi cleaner. The trees counteract air pollution and climate change. They remove carbon dioxide from the air. Carbon is stored in the trees, and oxygen is released into the atmosphere. The result: improved air quality for all citizens.

"World Earth Day" is a global event celebrated all over the world. On average, more than one billion people in 192 countries participate in the world's largest environmental movement.
