Fun Run, Serious Issue
Busch USA has always been very active in its community. It organizes food drives where foodstuffs are handed out to the needy. It also sponsors and donates to charitable events. Last year, for the second year in a row, Busch USA sponsored and added a donation to a 5K run to raise funds for Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA), the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit organization committed to preventing child abuse and neglect before it occurs.
The monies raised from the run are earmarked for national and local use. They will support education programs, child abuse awareness, and legislation to promote a happy, healthy and safe environment for every child.
Event organizer, Kerrigan Harrison, belongs to the Kappa Delta Sorority, a college association with a female membership base that is assisting the PCCA. She was very happy with the donations:
This fundraising effort means so much to PCAA and raises the critical funds needed to provide a safer place for children and help them succeed in supportive families and communities.
