The Korneuburg WHA champions league team is a group consisting of 17 field players and 2 goalkeepers. The sportswomen play in the WHA league, the highest women’s handball league in Austria, where the best of the best compete against each other. Busch Austria is pleased to be a part of it and to enable the team to participate in matches throughout the country by providing financial support.
Busch Austria is especially pleased to have been the official sponsor at a recent match between the two WHA champions league teams of Korneuburg and Graz. Amid some heart-stopping moments, the Korneuburg team held its own and won the game.

Busch Austria Supports Local Women’s Handball Team
Busch Austria is pleased to demonstrate its commitment to the local community by supporting the WHA (Women Handball Austria) champions league and WHA U18 (under 18) teams of the Union Korneuburg Women’s Handball club. The company has provided a donation of 2,500 Euro to support the teams in their sporting endeavors and strengthen ties with the Korneuburg community.
