Busch in the UK - Successful Three Peaks Challenge

On 12 June 2015 a team of 26 intrepid adventurers from Busch in the UK successfully completed the rigorous “National Three Peaks Challenge”, scaling some of Great Britain’s highest peaks – in England (Scafell Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowdon), within 24 hours. Sponsorship proceeds are going to charity.

(Telford/Crewe) - Twenty four mile walk, 10,000 foot ascent and 450 miles travelling distance – all within 24 hours! As one participant from Busch UK put it before the attempt: "This is a personal, once in a lifetime challenge to climb some of the highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours as part of a great team".

Money raised by participating in the Challenge is being donated to the highly worthwhile Rainbow Trust children's charity (www.rainbowtrust.org.uk), which provides emotional and practical support for families that have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. "So far we have raised over £5200 for the Rainbow Trust children's charity", the team reports, "and we should finish with well over £6000."

"The Rainbow Trust, a charity that does such tremendous work for families in across the country, inspired and motived me to complete this challenge so that as much money as possible could be raised", the team member  added.
